Steven Crane has spent the majority of his 30+ years in the energy sector tackling Difficult and Unconventional Resources.  He has held positions of increasing responsibility within ARCO and Shell during the past three decades.  This included the position of President - SURE Northern Energy Ltd, a Canadian subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell, focused on integrated unconventional oil projects.     Currently, Steven Crane is the founder and Managing Director of Crane Energy LLC, a strategic energy advisory company.  His expertise focuses on tight oil and gas development, oil sands, oil shales and EOR on an enterprise basis, from technical aspects through organizational structure and management.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
