    Steve Wicks spent 25 years with Pfizer Inc. rising to become a Vice President of Worldwide Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Pfizer Global R&D division and a member of the Pfizer UK Group Ltd Board of Directors.

    He was responsible for the pharmaceutical development of several marketed Pfizer products across many therapeutic areas (Maraviroc Tablets, DepoProvera Uniject, Genotropin MK VII Pen Injection System, Revatio Tablet and IV Injection, Slentrol, Cerenia) as well as the strategic deployment of resources. He completed his Doctoral and Bachelors (Hons) degrees in pharmacy from the University of Bath. Earlier in his career he held industrial research positions with GlaxoSmithKline and Abbott and academic posts at the University of Bath and Liverpool John Moores University.

    Steve is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, an honorary Fellow of the University of London's School of Pharmacy and visiting Professor of Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Bath. He is the pharmaceutical science member of the Governing Assembly of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, a registered pharmacist and an EU Qualified Person.
